upmysport.com is a marketplace for sports and fitness tuition, think Airbnb for sports. For our instructors, we’re a new way to gain business, take online bookings and payments, and build an online reputation.

We recently launched our beta site in London and we’re growing fast. We’re looking for someone who’s ambitious, talented and passionate about helping people get better at sport. Someone who’s willing to pitch in wherever’s needed and learn on the job. It's how the rest of us work and we think is essential. Responsibilities:

• Build an exciting upmysport branded experience
  
• Implement front end code
  
• Work closely with marketing and customer service to rapidly iterate and refine our UI
  
• Proactively look for ways to make upmysport better
  

Desired Skills:

• Expert front end skills: HTML, CSS (we’re using SCSS), Javascript (or Coffeescript) and jQuery, responsive design
  
• Solid attention to detail and appreciation of design led development
  
• Deep knowledge of web standards and cross-browser compatibility
  
• Desire to work on the cutting edge of front end technology
  
• Experience in multivariate and A/B testing
  
• Iterative workflow based on user feedback
  
• Strong communication skills
  

Bonus Points:

• Fluency in another European language
  
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, or a willingness to learn
  
• Experience with mobile platforms
