London | Permanent, full time | £22,000 - £28,000

We are looking for a talented Junior Web Developer to join our growing web development team based in London. Our team design and develop exciting websites and popular online services; we are looking for a junior who has potential to strengthen our team for the future.

The role

As a junior web developer you will be at the centre of the action working with our friendly development team to build fantastic new websites and develop great new features for our web services. You will be required to learn our working practices and development frameworks, and will quickly begin producing websites and projects for our clients under the direction of our senior developers.

We do not expect you to be familiar with the specific platforms we work in and we will provide training.

Responsibilities

• Build new websites within our bespoke framework
• Develop features which expand on our existing products
• Ensure projects and code is tested and delivered to a high standard
• Help with support and enquiries from existing and potential clients

Skills

• Fluent with HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with a language such as PHP, Ruby or Python combined with MySQL
• Some experience with graphics software such as Photoshop
• A keen eye for detail and quality control
• Ability to grasp our working practices and project methodology

Salary: Starting at £22,000 - £28,000 depending on portfolio and experience.
