Econsultancy - Front End UX Developer

We, at Econsultancy, are looking for a Front End User Experience Developer. This is a dual role in which we'd like you to take control of UX for our web site and also get your hands dirty working with the HTML, CSS, Javascript that are used to implement it.

We're a small, talented team working in a lovely office right by Farringdon station, London. You’ll get to pick your weapons of choice (laptop, screen accessories) and to lead UX on a site which serves hundreds of thousands of visitors every month. You'll also get to work for a company that cares about it's staff, keeps sensible working hours and arranges plenty of social events throughout the year.

Candidate requirements

You've got a at least 2 years experience working as a Front End User Experience Developer and love to create beautifully crafted websites, that are both intuitive to use and aesthetically pleasing to view.

You'll be expected to

  • work with internal stakeholders to define user workflows and experience, as well as website content structure
  • able to analyze existing sites for user workflow issues and propose good solutions for them
  • be fluent in and write maintainable HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript
  • have a good eye for typography, colors, visual hierarchy, and whether things "look right"
  • carry out user testing

Bonus points for experience working with any of the following: Sass, Ruby on Rails, JQuery or Git.

Salary

£30-60k
